Frankfurt, 5 April 2016 − Kintyre the Frankfurt Headquartered real estate manager and investor has announced its take-over of the Hamburg based real estate manager AQuAM Deutschland.

Effective from April 1st AQuAM Deutschland employees have been transferred to Kintyre. AQuAM Deutschland’s managing director, Katja Krecker, who formerly worked for HSH Nordbank and Hypo Vereinsbank before founding AQuAM in 2009, has been appointed Head of Property Management for Kintyre’s expanded management business.

During the course of Q2 2016, it is expected that all of AQuAM’s existing commercial management contracts will be migrated to Kintyre. These include the mandate for the 55,000 sqm, eight asset ‘Alchemy’ portfolio, in which Kintyre is a minority investor, plus a 70,800 sqm office portfolio with assets located in Bonn, Frankfurt am Main and Nuernberg, held by a US private family office.

The take-over will also see Kintyre opening an office in Hamburg, allowing the firm to further expand their service network across Germany, complementing its existing offices in Frankfurt, Oberhausen and Berlin.

Adam Pearce, Partner at Kintyre said: “The AQuAM Deutschland team share the same focus towards service quality and professionalism held at Kintyre and will be a valuable addition to our business. Having a presence in Hamburg allows Kintyre to further expand our regional presence across Germany”.

Katja Krecker, Head of Property Management at Kintyre said: “All of us are proud to be joining the team at Kintyre, and we are looking forward applying our experience to help grow the business.”
