T

he site located directly at the Bahnhof, and linking to high street of Bergisch Gladbach, benefits from its prime inner-city position. The property currently has 11,000 sqm of retail and two floors of parking.

Kintyre has been appointed via its full-service ‘turn around’ management model. Given the redesign and regeneration nature of the project, key to the project will be the engagement of Kintyre’s Project & Construction Management team.

The current focus of the project will be to maintain and improve the current ‘daily needs’ focus on the ground floor, with a full refurbishment of common areas and a resizing/redesign of the existing retail trading units. On the upper floors a more wholesale turnaround is planned, with inner-city relevant, non-retail uses, anticipated via an extensive yet efficient capital expenditure and repositioning program.

Next steps for the project will be consultation with all stakeholders for the project and advancing designs on this basis. Kintyre anticipate a submission of detailed planning application in the second half of 2021.

It's good to share!
