he former Märkisches Zentrum with 55,000 sqm of retail, office and medical space in the north of Berlin has been partly demolished. The refurbished element already today provides a strong daily needs and services offer as well as medical practices with more than 50 practitioners on 27,000 sqm.

After the transformation the Märkisches Quartier as a highly frequented urban precinct will provide 80,000 sqm of lettable area including a residential tower with 330 units, a new market hall home to a new supermarket anchor, modern office space and communal infrastructure such as kindergardens and carehomes.
